I did not have SkyUI, so i tried to download that, as well as the Alternate Start mod, but the game still won't start, all i'm getting is a brief flash of the title screen, minus the menu options, and then it just. the outdated skyrim error message was a result of an SKSE patcher, it was just a convenience thing, it just automated the process of linking skse to steam so that steam would launch skse instead of the skyrim launcher, however it was not necessary so i already unpatched that thingĪs for the skyproc patcher for DSR and the patcher for Fores new Idles, i forgot to mention in my original post that i had already used those, so i don't think there's an issue there
